Digital Communication in the Schools

Teachers are able to use technology in many different ways within their classroom. Using programs like Skype and Google Hangouts makes students conduct collaborative work, even when they are not physically together. Other forms of technology being used like blogging and having a class website is also seen to be effective when trying to communicate with parents and teachers outside of school. Social Media is another avenue of communication that is becoming popular, especially in middle school and high school.
